Akhil is an aerospace engineer who completed his specialisation in space engineering at TU Delft. He gained some initial experience at the European Southern Observatory in Chile but is now currently working within the Operational Directorate of Solar Physics and Space Weather of the Royal Observatory of Belgium. He is helping develop and operate its set of solar radio experiments of the Humain radio astronomy station, where those activities are linked to the surveillance of space weather conditions.
